For the gay traveler this hotel was perfectly located. It occupies most of the 3rd floor of a historic building and takes decorating advantage of its original detailing. Our room was a large suite with plenty of windows and a comfortable private bathroom. Modern decorations contrasted with the 1890's molding and details. The breakfast room was lovely and very generous with food and coffee. Miroto was the morning manager who provided EXCELLENT service and made wonderful scrambled eggs for us each morning. The entire staff was accomodating, fun and professional. In addition to the hotel itself, right outside the front door is a great gay bar (Prinzknect). The street is filled with an assortment of dining options and there are lots of gay night life venues within just a few blocks. Access to the metro is very convenient and also the incredible KaDeWe department store is just down the street. This is a wonderful, quirky and surprising place to stay! I'll never stay anywhere else when I visit Berlin

I booked online (duh) and didn't know it had mostly (exclusively?) gay clientele. The bar in the same building downstairs literally has a sign that reads "Males Only." But other than that laugh / surprise, this hotel mostly met my expectations. It may in part be due to the fact that they didn't have the room I'd booked so they upgraded me. Whatever the reason the room was great. Everyone that worked there was great too. Solicitous and helpful, they made staying there a pleasure. This hotel is in what must have been a luxurious apartment in half of one floor of an older building. The place as been converted into rooms and works well, but it does lack a regular lobby and the breakfast room is perhaps the only place to lounge outside of one's room. There's an old fashioned elevator which works fine.

Small boutique hotel taking up the third floor of a beautiful old building situated in the gay district of Berlin. Very convenient location if you're in town for going to gay clubs or bars, as most of them are within short walking distance. You even have a gay bar, shop and club right next door to the hotel. Walking to the closest U Bahn station takes 5 minutes. My room for 2 was spacious and bright, with comfortable armchairs which I really appreciated to be able to rest my feet after long days exploring the city. The ceiling height is massive and the decor of the whole hotel is super quirky and fun! Top marks for cleanliness. The staff is very helpful and gives great recommendations on what to do during your stay. The breakfast was nice, as well.

This is a very nice, older style hotel with a modern flair located on the third floor of an historic, renovated building in the heart of the Schöneberg district. It has a great location with many excellent restaurants and bars located nearby. KaDeWe shopping area is a 5 minute walk as are two different subway stations. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, has an elevator and the staff are excellent and very helpful. Breakfast is good and reasonably priced, parking is available if you call ahead and also well priced. It is very LBGTQ+ friendly and welcoming of all styles, peoples and pairings. Which is excellent.

It's a hotel that occupies just one floor of a historic building (the old-style lift with double doors was charming!), in the LGBT neighbouthood, which gives a special ambience in front of the building and the street it is on. The entrance is right next to a relatively big gay bar, and it could be noisy for some rooms, but in the room I stayed, the outdoor noise was not at all heard (see the noise issue inside the hotel below). The staff were helpful (although not the most efficient), the room had a nice high ceiling with cool decor, and it was very well cleaned. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that.
